When Cypress Lake RV Park in Calvert City, KY joined the Freedom portfolio, it was a park full of potential — but one in need of serious cleanup and infrastructure attention. Our team stepped in with a focus on modernizing high-traffic areas, enhancing visual appeal, and laying the groundwork for a more enjoyable guest experience.
One of the most impactful changes was the demolition of a large, dilapidated apartment building that had been sitting unused. Its removal immediately improved the park’s layout, safety, and aesthetics — opening up valuable space and creating a cleaner, more cared-for feel.
We also completed extensive road repairs throughout the park, eliminating potholes, improving navigation, and creating smoother, safer pathways for both vehicles and foot traffic — a major quality-of-life upgrade for guests.
Additional updates included bathhouse renovations, a refreshed and modernized game room, and new signage at the park entrance to enhance curb appeal. Together, these improvements reflect our commitment to transforming overlooked parks into clean, functional, and community-driven spaces that guests are proud to return to.
